The beach was fine, and my kids loved building sandcastles. The staff were friendly, definitely a family-friendly spot!
My wife says that the food options were quite limited for the mandatory meal plan. They should offer more variety to cater to kids' tastes.

We explored the scenic trails and paths around the hotel and went snorkeling at one of the marine sanctuaries. The beachfront was pure bliss, and the staff were super friendly. Just a heads up, the healthy meals are mandatory but totally worth it.
We struggled with the loud music from nearby guests, a bit annoying. It would've been better if there were some noise regulations in place.

The beachfront views at Virgin Beach Resort are fine and really set the vibe for a relaxing escape. I stayed in a Louver-Window Casita, and I loved the clean and simple design. I appreciated the hot showers and air conditioning. Both worked well. The beach was clean and less crowded, which I loved for sheer relaxation. The outdoor dining area had decent Filipino meals and the fresh juices were a hit. The full board meals fell short. The lunch options lacked flavor, especially the fish, and some dishes seemed to just be recycled versions of the previous meals. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, they ran out of butter before 8 am, super frustrating. I had to wait to get what I wanted. Another issue was with the cleanliness of the beach water. I noticed some plastic trash that could be picked up more frequently. It would also be great if they organized more activities or provided equipment at the resort. I enjoyed the little bonfire by the beach after sunset. That was a highlight. Despite these drawbacks, it still offered a peaceful getaway and I would consider returning, but improvements in dining and cleanliness would be needed first.

Great beachfront resort in San Juan, offering a serene getaway. The beach is free from clutter and vendors, providing a quiet setting. The resort has amenities for day tour guests, including dining huts and a beach volleyball setup. The changing rooms and shower stalls are conveniently located near the dining and massage parasols. The resort also allows guests to bring in canned drinks and encourages the use of disposable plates and utensils. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
